OUR MASTHEAD

Liam Hancock

Annemarie London

Annemarie London

Liam is a sophomore from San Diego, California. He has been writing since long before he can remember and editing StudentKind Literary Journal since about last May. His favorite genre to write in is horror (even though he can't stomach a real horror movie), and don't even try to ask him what his favorite book is because you won't be going anywhere for a good half hour.

Annemarie London

Annemarie is a third year from California. She is obsessed with the arts, from drawing to writing to creating our eye-catching social media posts. Annemarie is a devout worshipper of the "Throne of Glass" series and hopes to bring to StudentKind the sort of literary whimsy and fantastical fervor that permeates her reading preferences.

Jules Duve is a junior based in North Carolina. A lover of the arts, they partake in drama, chorus, and (obviously!) writing. They specialize in poetry and short stories, but they aspire to expand their writing horizons here at StudentKind Literary Journal. They plan to pursue archaeological linguistics and a life filled with writing, from typing unseen poetry in their notes app to analyzing the occasional classic.

Sasi Kondru

Sasi is a rising senior who loves to write short stories and poems. She's been published in over 15 magazines! Sasi also loves to volunteer and help out her community!  When she's not writing, you can find her reading and taking very long walks.

Iwan Lee

Bodie Hancock

Bodie Hancock

Iwan Lee is a 13 year old author from New Jersey who loves reading just about anything. He loves to write suspenseful stories, with an elegant touch of fantasy and magic. Whenever he isn’t busy writing away his action-packed stories, he can be found partaking in other hobbies, such as playing tennis and the guitar, both of which he is quite fond of.

Bodie Hancock

After much deliberation, Bodie Hancock has been elected as our honorary mascot. Bodie is a 1-year-old pit bull/dalmatian mix, but already a precocious young creative. She is, in fact, the ghost writer of most of Mr. Hancock's work and is currently awaiting a publishing deal from Penguin Random House for her most recent manuscript, "Ruffin' It."
